A lot of people get into real estate with the intention of bringing in extra money beyond their full time income. Real estate can absolutely do that, however if you look at it as a side hustle, that is all it will ever be.
If you want to grow your side hustle, it can no longer be a side hustle. You need to start thinking about how you can build it like a true organization.
I see many people getting caught up in the “hustle” mentality. This is the reason why most people stay a 1-2 man show. Their goal to outwork everyone around them. F*ck sleep, f*ck sitting down to eat, f*ck taking a break.
Hustle mentality is not sustainable. Hustle mentality is holding you back.
The reality is, there are only 24 hours in a day. Naturally we have to sleep. Naturally, we have to eat. Without sleeping or eating we can’t survive and if we can’t survive, we can not work.
Don’t get me wrong, building a business takes a LOT of work. Hard work is great but that will only get you so far. That might get you to locking in 2-3 deals a month but if you really want to take it to the next level and do 10, 20, or 30 deals a month, then you need to do something more.
You need to understand the concept of leverage.

Leverage can help you save time and money, gain expertise and more. Most of us don’t utilize leverage as much as we could. This could be because you are unaware of your resources or unsure how you can leverage them. However, the whole point of leverage is that you’re already equipped to succeed. When you leverage your existing resources, they expand and multiply to produce new resources.

Are you organizing your workload effectively? What can you put off your plate so you can focus on what really matters? Determine where you bring the most value to your business. 2. Leverage Achievement
How can you use your past achievements as leverage in business? Can a recent award or recognition land you a new deal or opportunity? While you may think that achieving a goal you set out to accomplish is enough in itself, consider whether you can consistently spread this limited win to your business.

Connections are a valuable component of leverage in business. They help to widen your knowledge base and skills, and are critical because they jump you ahead on the learning curve in many areas. You have to onboard them the right way, provide the right ongoing training, set the right expectations, continuously communicate and through building the right culture and holding people accountable. This is ultimately what is going to allow us to get to the end result the fastest.
So it’s not about the hustle. It’s not about out-working anyone. Instead, its about using the resources you already have, seeking out new resources and out leveraging everyone else.
When you’re able to do that, that’s when you are going to get you to the result you want.
